Absolutely delighted after I came across this advertisement…

It has brought back many scenes from my childhood…

I don’t remember but either one of our relatives or my maternal grandma had introduced the complan drink to me…

I never liked the taste of complan until unless the chocolate flavored one came out…

But as many other kids I have liked this ad and used to mimic the girl…

Wonder what I could have said to my mother…same line …that Iam growing mommy…

My mommy was so nice to me. she had always gave me her relaxing, beautiful and hearty smile, whenever I did such comic acts…I think all mothers are like that only..

She is still nice to me…and mom I’m just rekindling my childhood moments with you…love you…

Paneer tikka masala with garlic naan, aromatic smell coming from baked puff pastry sheets stuffed with veggies, red spinach daal, bhindi ka kurma , sumptuous egg curry ,cauliflower masala accompanying them was the vegetable biryani…and of course not to forget the Indian delicacy rasmalai…

Roses, tulips, daises, white chocolate covered yummy cherry cake, murmurings of friends ,smiles followed by greetings, watching some funny yet thought provoking commercials on you tube with friends, conversations about work ,sharing or sh{r}edding inhibitions about many things….

Above was the menu at one of our friend’s marriage anniversary party and the mood created over there…

This week has started on such high notes. An 11:00 am chai with leftover veggie puffs, our efforts to hang a beautiful tapestry…followed by brunch. Later in the day went to a massage parlor…

I had forget to wish my friend Bhavs who has again started her career innings from this week…Iam sorry Bhavs…congratulations for a wonderful career ahead of you.

Felt bad for missing the opportunity to take a glimpse at the total lunar eclipse, as the sky suddenly went cloudy and dusky from clear…

Still hooked up at ‘c & data structures’. Glad at least able to write a pseudo code now…

My laptop’s performance has suddenly slowed down after downloading the turbo c compiler… I hope it works well…

My doubt was right. My laptop has failed to reboot…so I have to use my pc {for a while} which… is operating on Linux…

Did some shopping for garden… we are looking for a patio furniture as spring/summer is approaching…I love to have my morning tea in the garden.

Many plants are already started off showing the signs of spring. By covering themselves with flowers, buds and new baby leaves…

Actively looking for parijata tree {Nyctanthes arbor -tristis} for our garden… I have to wait and see if I would be able to find this rare tropical plant or not…

This week, I can say is a casual one. Neither much activity nor the running around to get things done.

* Received the TOEFL score {joy to incur upon this as I was not expecting to obtain it now. When I had given the exam, I was told that score will be available later this month…perhaps around Feb 24th…}

* Started reading “Data Structures and Algorithms”… Got a more elucidated insight into all the concepts…

* Spent evenings eating Oreo cookies with lemon tea…Coz most of the week it was raining…

* Finally one of my hibiscus plants has started flowering. It was a rare finds {at least here} at a local nursery…it’s a ruby orange colored flower…

* Watched Travel channel a lot… I have saved some of the Anthony Bourdain’s travelogues…Especially I loved his trip to Italy…his schematic style quotient,” I am born in this place and I belong to the people here “attitude combined with his deep voice sums up fine evince of diverse cultures….

* cleared my laptop by deleting some oldies. I almost always stuck up at a mode while reviewing those oldies and deciding on whether to keep the file or not… which is I’m now… image courtesy sleepy hibiscus

I woke up to again another foggy winter morning which stirred my thoughts and Delhi appeared in my mind. Starting off my day with a cuppa of earlgrey tea in the misty winter mornings of Delhi is a still life picture in my mind. I must say the tangerine color which comes with the dipping of earlgrey teabags in water and the sweet and somewhat scented aroma was very much appealed to all my senses.

However My love with tea doesn’t stop with earlgrey savor.  I favored multi flavors of tea at various times ranging from Japanese flower teas to Antioxidants rich herbal teas to our very own masala chai. Whenever I got flu in winters, my mom used to give me Sonti tea. And it works. Iam still following this traditional method to get rid off the flu. Sonti is nothing but ginger in dried form.

These days Iam sipping Good Earth sweet n spicy Herbal Tea. It contains no sugar, caffeine, artificial colors or preservatives. It is a natural source of antioxidants. And no wonder it includes all natural healing herbs.

This tea is a blend of Red Rooibos, Chicory Root, Rosehips, Cinnamon, Peppermint, Lemongrass, Papaya, Chamomile, Panax Ginseng Leaves, Anise Seed, Ginger Root, Dandelion Root, Orange Peel and Orange Oil. Wow…What an exciting list of Ingredients.

And even more exciting detail about this tea is everyday we can find an Inspirational quote on the label of tea bag. Following are some of the quotes which I found on the tea bags.

Teachers open the door, but you must enter by yourself.

If you stand straight, do not fear a crooked shadow.
